Have you noticed that during this “pandemic of fear” that in your attempt to protect yourself from pain (caused by others)that now you feel even more “shutdown” and “frozen”? You have created your own prison and closed the door to your heart. The wall that you created to “protect you” is now hurting you as you are now closed off from “giving and receiving love” and now you feel retraumatized and more anxious as well as depressed.
YOU HAVE ISOLATED YOURSELF FROM OTHERS
It is important to make wise decisions as to to whom you let into your life and your heart but due to “fear” you may now be not allowing anyone to come closer. The “pandemic of fear” is actually more contagious and debilitating than Covid.(see: ”Ways To No Longer Have Anxiety Run Your Life” If you have decided consciously or unconsciously to isolate yourself due to fear of sickness or “being hurt again in a relationship” and to live an isolated life then that is not a healthy or wise choice and ultimately can cause even more pain and problems. We are wired for “connection” with others (and not to be living on Zoom for our main source of connection with others))if you let fear run your life then you can miss all the opportunities that are there in the present. for you to grow and heal. Healing can’t take place in isolation and fear. So you will need “courage”: to come out of this hindering “fearful avoidant” negative pattern but first you need to be conscious of it and choose again. Choose life!!
“OUT OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKS” WHAT IS YOUR HEART SAYING?
So important for you to be aware of your thought life and the words that you speak not just to others but how you are speaking to yourself. Are you a harsh negative shamebased critic filled with fear and anxiety or are you able to be gentle as well as kind and encouraging with yourself and others? See:”Three Ways to Learn How To Reparent Yourself” If you are surrounding yourself with negative people and continually watching the news or reading what is filled with fear mongering than you are on a diet of “junk food” that can only take down your spirit rather than a diet of “symbolic food” that nurtures you emotionally and spiritually. Watch the words that come out of your mouth as they will give you information about the state of your heart.
